For its GO GREEN activity, HIT held a series of organic gardening workshops to promote a greener working environment. Over 80 staff joined the programme which consisted of three workshops. The first workshop covered seeds, the use of soil and basic planting skills. The seeds included eggplant, okura, water spinach, amaranth and peas. In the second workshop, participants transplanted their seeds from small pots to an outdoor organic farm. The third workshop focused on indoor planting with a focus on small plants and flowers suitable for the home and office environments. On 18 September, a ceremony was held to mark the first harvest of the vegetables.
