PPC’s Occupational Health, Safety and Environment department organised workshops for staff in Balboa and Cristobal on solid waste management and recycling, focusing on techniques that can be applied both at home and in the office. A total of 25 employees took part in the event.

PPC also worked with the Panamanian Ministry of Environment to plant native trees in the Camino de Cruces National Park in Panama with the participation of 50 employees from Balboa and Cristoal who planted seedlings. The Ministry of Environment attended the activity and gave a talk on the importance of the park and the conservation of natural resources.
