A reforestation activity was organised by TNG on 23 September with 400 trees donated by CONAFOR (Comisión Nacional Forestal) planted around the terminal. The trees will improve soil fertility and regulate the flow of rivers in the area. The terminal also held a composting activity on 15 September using food waste generated by staff members.
